Notifications and how to disable/enable them

Here you will learn how to enable/disable notifications for 'project/site entry', 'after hours notifications', account induction completion', 'audit & Incident notifications' and 'hazard/risk daily acknowledgement reminders'

Project/Site Entry Notifications

 

To enable or disable 'project/site entry' notifications,  click on the Settings icon in the black bar at the top of the page 

 

A drop down menu will appear.  Click on Covid-19 Setup

Through this menu you can enable/disable 'notify site managers as users arrive onsite'. 

 

Toggle 'on' or 'off ' - 'notify site managers as users arrive onsite' and then click on Save.

Site entry notifications will go to Site Manager(s).  If there are no Site Manager(s) set up they will go to the Account Administrators 

 

 

 

 

Account Induction Completion Notifications

 

To enable/disable notifications when a user completes an Account Induction go to the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the web portal, then select Configuration.

Toggle the Induction notifications option 'on' or 'off', which you will find underneath where you select the auto sign out times and click on Save.

Account Induction notifications will go to the main contact person.  If a main contact person is not selected they will go to all Account Administrators

 

 

Inspection/Audit, Safety Observations & Incident Notifications

 

The Inspection/Audit, Safety Observations & Incident features have notifications which currently cannot be disabled.

 

Email notifications received whenever an inspection/audit, safety observation or incident is logged for a Project/Site will firstly go to any associated Site Managers. If no site managers are appointed, then all account admins will receive the email notifications.

 

If you do not want all Account Administrators to receive these notifications then the best way to limit who receives them is to appoint Site Manager(s) to your Projects/Sites so that they are only directed towards those who need to receive them.

 

 

Hazard/Risk Daily Acknowledgement Reminders/Notifications

 

You can turn on and off at Account Level notifications to be sent to users signing into a Project/Site if they have NOT completed the daily hazard/risk acknowledgement.  These notifications will be sent 5 minutes after they have signed into the Project/Site via push notification and email.

You can can also enable notifications to be sent via email to the site managers (account admins if no site managers) 5 minutes after sign in advising a user has forgotten to complete the acknowledgement.

 

To turn these notifications on and off within the SiteConnect Web Portal click on the Cog Wheel in the black bar on the right-hand side and then click on Configuration

 

 

In the Account Configuration tab you will see the heading Notifications and under this heading is a tick box to Enable 5 Minute Risk Acknowledgement reminders.  Tick this box to enable (untick to disable) reminders to be sent to the user.  Once this is enabled you can then enable the Manager alerts (user notifications must be turned on first to enable the Manager alerts)
