How connected records work

Sites and Mobile App access

An asset’s linked site determines where it appears in site-based workflows. Assets marked as visible on mobile appear to field users for their selected site.

Hazards and risks

Hazards and risks linked to an asset follow it when the asset changes site. SiteConnect removes them from the previous site’s Risk Register and adds them to the new site’s Risk Register.

The existing hazard records, ratings, controls and assessments remain unchanged. If the asset has no site, the hazards remain linked to the asset but do not appear in a site Risk Register.

Safety and work records

You can connect assets with:

Incidents
Safety observations.
Tasks and corrective actions.
RAMS & SWMS workflows.

These records remain linked to the asset when it moves and retain their original site and history. Assets are confirmed as linkable across these safety and work records.

People and supporting information

You can also associate users, contractors, vendors and files with an asset, keeping responsibility and supporting information connected to the same record.
