Why hasn't an Account Induction or Site Induction been assigned?

Account Inductions and Site Induction forms use two different assignment mechanisms, so the fix depends on which one is missing.

An Account Induction is assigned automatically to everyone in your connected network, so a gap is usually a network-connection or enabled-status issue. A Site Induction form is assigned by rules an administrator configures on the form itself, so a gap is usually a status or targeting setting on that form.

Account Induction 

Step One: Can you see Inductions at all?

The Inductions menu item is hidden when your account link is set to Employee, or your user account does not have the role permissions to include inductions.

Step Two: Is the induction enabled?

When an account induction is created, they are disabled by default. On the induction's row, select Edit, turn on the toggle that reads Induction is now disabled, and select Save — until then it won't appear in anyone's list, even though it's technically assigned.

Step Three: Does it have at least one module?

If an enabled induction contains no modules, the worker sees a message stating that there is nothing to display, which may make the induction appear to be missing.

Site Induction form

Step One: Can you see Forms at all?

The Forms panel is hidden for Employee-level users, or when your account does not have the role based permissions to view or edit Forms.

Step Two: Is the Form Active 

Ensure the form has been made Active users will never see a template form. 

Step Three: Is an auto-assign option switched on?

In Form Settings, confirm one of Automatically assign this form to users in your connected network, Automatically assign this form to Employees or Automatically assign this form to users entering selected sites is ticked.

Step Four: If you're relying on site-entry auto-assign, is Form Type set to Site Induction?

Site entry auto-assign works for Site Induction forms; a plain Form doesn't auto-assign this way, even with the setting ticked.

Step Five: Is the form a template?

Templates are never assigned, untick This is a template form.

If This is a recurring form is ticked, the template setting is locked on — the schedule itself creates and assigns a fresh copy each time it runs, so a recurring induction is never assigned as one form.

Step Six: If you're using site-entry auto-assign, has the site been added to the form?

This assigns the form when someone signs in to a site selected on it. Add newly created sites here too, or they won't trigger assignment.

Step Seven: Do your Job Titles or Industries filters exclude the person?

Job Titles narrows every auto-assign option; Industries narrows the connected-network and site-entry options, but not Employees.

Step Eight: Has the form been archived?

Archiving hides a form from assigned users, separate from Active. Switch the list filter to archived, then Restore if needed.

Was the person unassigned before? Auto-assignment adds people but never re-adds someone removed. On Assigned Forms, select View Responses on the form's row, then Assign Users in the dialog to add them again.

Result 

Once the blocking setting is corrected, the Account Induction appears in the person's induction list. A Site Induction form using site-entry auto-assign is assigned the moment the person next signs in to the relevant site; for the connected-network or Employees options, confirm the assignment appears on their form list.
