How to Set Up Daily Hazard/Risk Acknowledgement Reminders

SiteConnect can send a reminder to users if they forget to complete their daily hazard/risk check—and notify managers too. Here's how to set it up via the Web Portal.

Steps:

  1. Click the Cog Wheel (⚙️) in the black bar on the right-hand side.

  2. Choose Configuration.

  3. Under the Account Configuration tab, scroll to the Notifications section.

  4. Tick the box that says, “Enable 5 Minute Risk Acknowledgement reminders.”

    Note: This sends a push notification and email to the user 5 minutes after sign-in if they haven’t acknowledged the risks.

  5. To notify managers, tick the Manager Alerts box below (this option only appears after enabling user reminders).

Who gets the reminders?

  • The user gets a push and email reminder.

  • The Site Manager (or Account Admin if no manager is set) gets notified if the user doesn’t complete the check.
