What happens when a worker signs in

When a worker signs in to a site for the first time using any of the sign-in methods, SiteConnect checks whether they have visited that site before. If they have not, the site induction form can automatically be assigned, provided the form settings are correct:

  • The site induction form is active.
  • The site induction form is marked as a Site induction.
  • Automatically assign this form to users entering selected sites is enabled.
  • The relevant site has been selected.

What if a worker doesn’t complete the site induction?

If the induction is not completed within 15 minutes, the nominated site manager receives an email identifying the worker and advising that their induction remains incomplete.

Requirements for notifying a site manager

For a site manager to receive an incomplete induction notification:

  1. The induction form must be active.
  2. Enable notifications for this form must be turned on.
  3. Include site managers for notifications must be turned on.
  4. The site manager must be linked to the relevant site under the Managers tab in the Web Portal.

When Include site managers for notifications is enabled, managers of the selected sites are included alongside the users selected in the form’s Notifications tab.
