# How do I change my password in the Mobile App?

## Request a new password using the Mobile App login screen or change it once you're signed in.

### If you have forgotten your password

If you have forgotten your password and can not log into the mobile app, tap **Forgot Password** at the bottom of the sign-in to your account screen. The system will send you a new password to your registered email address. 

If you can not access your email address, please contact SiteConnect support.

**Caution**

If you attempt to sign in more than three times with an incorrect password, the system will lock your account for security reasons. SiteConnect Administrators can unlock accounts. Alternatively, please contact SiteConnect support. 

### Before you begin

To change your password you'll need the app installed on your phone, and you'll need to be signed in.

### Step-by-step guide

#### Step 1: Open the Login Credentials screen

Tap the **Cog** icon in the top-left corner of the app. Tap **Update Profile**, then scroll down and select **Change Login Credentials** — or open **Login Credentials** from the **Settings Menu**.

#### Step 2: Enter and confirm your new password

Leave **Email Address** and **Username** as they are. Enter your new password in **New Password**, then repeat it in **New Password Confirmation**. Tap the eye icon if you want to see what you're typing. A strength indicator shows how strong the password is, and you can't save until it's strong enough and both entries match.

#### Step 3: Save your new password

Tap **Update Login Credentials** to save your new password.

### Result

SiteConnect saves your new password. Use it the next time you sign in to the Mobile App.
